Six months after resigning as an educator at IAIN Surakarta, a friend of mine visited my house. We have something in common, namely as full time mamas. Taking care of children is our daily duty and responsibility. Even though we are busy as housewives, but we think of becoming financially empowered women. In a long conversation, my friend informed me that there was a big business opportunity. He said that many food stalls and canteens in Surakarta needed a supply of cooked melinjo chips. He got this information from vendors and food stall owners whom he asked randomly.

Then I follow up on the information. I immediately looked for melinjo chips craftsmen in the Sukoharjo area. I started this business with a system of selling to food stalls, canteens, cooperatives, wedangan/hiking, and all potential partners for us to sell chips to. We have determined market segments, potential buyers, and promotion strategies. Then, Koncone Snacking journey begins.
